Before diving into common errors, it’s important to note that any errors and notifications from the EA can be seen only in the “Experts” tab of your trading terminal. When contacting support, it is highly recommended to attach your trading log so that specialists can assist you more quickly in resolving the issue.

1. Forgetting to Enable Auto-Trading:

Error:Users might forget to enable the “Auto-Trading” option in the Metatrader 5 platform, preventing the bot from executing trades automatically.
Solution:Go to the top panel in Metatrader 5, click on “Auto-Trading,” and ensure the button is green, indicating it is active. Always double-check this setting after restarting the platform.

2. Not Adding the Domain in Tools > Options:

Error:Failing to add the appropriate domain in the “Tools > Options > Expert Advisors” section may block the bot from accessing necessary external resources.
Solution:Navigate to Tools > Options > Expert Advisors and add the domain “http://easytradingai.com” to the allowed list for WebRequest.

3. Missing License Keys in the Configuration File:

Error:Not entering the AIAccessID and AIAccessKey in the configuration file can result in the bot not being properly authenticated, preventing it from functioning.
Solution:Ensure that the file, typically located in “MQL5/Files/scalperology.txt” (or respective bot file), contains correctly formatted keys: `AIAccessID:YourID, AIAccessKey:YourKey` without spaces.

4. Incorrect File Placement:

Error:Files might be placed incorrectly within the Metatrader 5 directory, disrupting bot operation.
Solution:After downloading, ensure that all files are copied precisely into the “MQL5/Experts” folder. Recheck the file structure to confirm everything is in the correct directory.

5. Not Selecting the Right Set File:

Error:Failing to choose the correct set file for the desired trading strategy can lead to suboptimal trading results.
Solution:Go through the available set files and select the one that best matches your trading objectives, whether manually or through automated system recommendations.

6. Neglecting to Monitor Bot Performance:

Error:Some users may assume the bot operates perfectly without supervision, missing critical adjustments or insights.
Solution:Regularly review trade logs and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization and ensure the bot’s settings align with current market conditions. It’s important to monitor trade execution quality. Even if you’re using automatic sets, there’s a chance a set file might be incompatible with your account type and broker, potentially yielding opposite results.

7. Not Understanding Parameter Configurations:

Error:Incorrect parameter configuration might lead to unintended trading behavior.
Solution:Familiarize yourself with each parameter’s functionality, as described in the bot’s user manual or FAQ section, to ensure precise configuration.
